The Cerna Ruze shopping centre in Prague’s old town is full of stores worth checking out, whether you’re shopping for clothing or souvenirs. But if your focus is just on clothing, then Fashion Arena , located 25 minutes outside of the city is a shopper’s paradise, with hundreds of brands to choose from. Hop on the Fashion Arena, around 25 minutes away from town. Home to 200 international brands including Calvin Klein, Tommy Hilfiger, and Adidas, this outlet mall offers more duty-free shopping space than Prague city center malls. Free shuttle services depart daily from 11 am to 3 pm, and return at either 4 pm or 7 pm to Prague.
Great View but High Price. Atop Petrin Tower is a fantastic view and you can see over the entire city centre of Prague along with scores of its signature orange tile rooftops and you can easily spot the castle in the mid-distance. Entry to the top costs approx. £10 which I consider relatively high.
Of course, you can’t go shopping in Prague without visiting some of the second-hand stores dotted around this city. Prague is home to some brilliant vintage and second-hand clothing stores, and this is the perfect place to pick up some one-of-a-kind pieces. When it comes to shopping in Budapest, this city is known for its wonderful markets.
Prague 5: Smíchov, south of Malá Strana, is on the pricey side and can feel crowded with all the malls, cinema complexes, and office buildings in the vicinity. But the public transport is good and nice neighborhoods with historic homes and small paneláky can be found in Košíře, Motol, Hlubočepy, and Radlice.
4. Prague is Picturesque with Beautiful Architecture in Different Styles. Prague is a great place to discover and enjoy different architectural styles – gothic, baroque, Art Nouveau and Cubism. For me, walking around Prague was like walking around in a fairy tale.
The Můstek neighborhood in Prague provides easy access to the Prague Metro and borders the New Town, sometimes called New Prague. Hotels in Mustek are less expensive than their counterparts in Old Town, which makes them an excellent choice if you’re looking to break away from the tourist traps and enjoy a spot of shopping at the Palladium Mall.
